This event is open to all 6-8th graders and pre-registration is required for this free event.

What should someone attending expect:
All participating teens need to arrive before the library closes at 5pm. There will be snacks and a few activities before we begin our game of 'Humans Vs. Zombies”. Using HCDL-house rules, we will divide teens into our zombie and human teams. Humans will attempt to use limited artillery to avoid the zombies and stun them when possible (with nerf guns and sock balls). Zombies will do their best to find the humans and turn them into zombies by touching them. All participants need to be picked up at the back door of the library at 7pm.
A permission form signed by parent/guardian is required for this after hours event.
All pre-registered teens are expected to arrive between 4:30pm and before 5:00pm when the library closes. They will stay in the building with library staff until dismissed at the back door of the library at 7:00pm.
We expect conduct/behavior to be appropriate. Inappropriate behavior/conduct will result in students getting dismissed early after notifying the parent or emergency contact.
