The Outreach Committee plays a key role in keeping the Howell Main Street Inc. board, committees, staff, and program-of-work in good shape by attracting people and money to the organization. To succeed this committee must take responsibility for managing the financial and logistical aspects of the Main Street Program’s organization by:
- Raising money for projects & administration from donations & sponsorships
- Managing staff & volunteers by recruiting people, supervising them, and rewarding good work
- Promoting the program to downtown interests & the public
- Managing finances by developing good accounting procedures
MEETINGS: The Outreach Committee meets the second Monday of the month from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at the Howell Main Street DDA Office, 118 W. Clinton St. These meetings are open to the public.
